HiF Kitchens built-in or ‘integrated’ appliances can give your kitchen a really tidy, sleek look - whilst still giving you the same functionality as its freestanding counterpart. Built-in appliances offer a clean finish look, as they are fitted into your kitchen units or cupboards.

Whether the appliance is completely or partially built-in, it is often disguised behind a cupboard door - which is usually fixed to the appliance. This keeps the appliance hidden from view and better matches the kitchen's design. You can expect this type of design for built-in fridge freezer, dishwashers and even washing machines.

Other appliances such as ovens can also be built-in to your kitchen units. Ovens and cookers are often built-in with their original fronts for maximum visibility & functionality. You can expect to find built-in ovens slightly smaller than their freestanding counterparts. This allows them to fit easily into kitchen units or into the wall itself.

Nearly all built-in models will require what we call a ‘plinth’ - which covers the base of your appliance. You’ll also require a cupboard door that matches your current kitchen décor, and this will often be fitted to the appliance. These components are what gives your kitchen that clean, stylish finish.
