Rim locks are fitted to the door's surface rather than being morticed in, along with a surface-mounted keep that should be fitted to the door frame.

• Our weighty rim lock range is forged from solid brass, emphasising the high-quality materials and manufacturing techniques used. A perfect design choice to use throughout your property with many other matching products available.
• Our rim knob range is used in conjunction with our rim locks to provide an attractive, high-quality finish to any period townhouse or country property.
• It contains a 3 lever rim lock which is not insurance rated.
• The product is reversible, you can use it on either the left or right-hand side of your door.
• All our rim locks are KA.
• Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

Product Finish

Our From The Anvil aged brass products are made from solid unlacquered brass, offering an abundance of character and charm.  This finish is perfectly suited to period dwellings and will create a statement throughout. Due to the accelerated ageing process, this finish undergoes a darker patina gathers around the edges and recesses to contrast beautifully with the re-polished surface areas.

Maintenance & Care

This finish will continue to oxidise and age as it is an unlacquered finish, meaning the finish will darken over time.  If the product becomes tarnished or too dark, it can be polished on all surface areas to enhance the finish.  To restore and brighten the finish, we recommend polishing with a dry cloth or using our ‘Brasso’ (73102), which assists with the cleaning of solid brass products.  Regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337) is beneficial to the longevity of your products & highly recommended during initial installation.  You can also use an oily cloth to wipe over the product from time to time to protect against exterior or environmental elements.
