Our Avon espagnolette fasteners suit both contemporary or traditional settings, offering all the benefits of a modern and secure configuration. Handforged from brass which enhances all hammer blows and fine detail during the making of this product.

• Due to their thin fixing plate is designed to fit any window, including uPVC and timber. You can match it with the Avon stays and door handles in the range.
• The handle is cranked forwards to ensure this protrudes far enough from the window for ease of use.
• The product is reversible so that it will work on both left and right-handed windows.
• They have a seven mm² x 40mm spindle and can be locked using a grub screw.
• You can use it with an espagnolette gearbox & window lock.
• They are supplied with matching SS M5 screws.

Product Finish

Made from solid unlacquered brass, this finish From The Anvil is classic and simplistic and offers excellent possibilities for stately and period dwellings alike, particularly where a very traditional look is desired. When fully polished, this finish has a depth of reflection. However, as the product is unlacquered, this can also be left to age naturally, which will create a beautifully historic finish over time.

Maintenance & Care

As our brass is unlacquered, it will naturally age through oxidisation, giving the product added character. However, if desired, you can maintain this finish to a bright ‘polished’ finish with periodic polishing. To achieve this, please use a dry cloth or use our ‘Brasso’ (73102) to assist with cleaning solid brass products. Regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337) is beneficial to the longevity of your products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. You can also use an oily cloth to wipe over the product from time to time to aid protection against exterior or environmental elements.
