Our range of peardrop espagnolette fasteners is simple in design and offers a traditional product with the benefits of a modern and secure configuration.

• They are designed to fit any window type, including uPVC and timber. You can match it with the peardrop stays in the range.
• The handle is hinged to ensure you can lift it away from the window for ease of use.
• The product is handed, so care must be taken when choosing the correct hand. From the inside view, a right-hand fastener is required if your window is hinged on the right.
• They have a seven mm² x 38mm spindle and can be locked by a grub screw.
• You can use it with an Espagnolette gearbox & window lock.
• They are supplied with matching SS M5 screws.

Product Finish

Made from solid unlacquered brass, this finish From The Anvil is classic and simplistic and offers excellent possibilities for stately and period dwellings alike, particularly where a very traditional look is desired. When fully polished, this finish has a depth of reflection. However, as the product is unlacquered, this can also be left to age naturally, creating a beautifully historic finish over time.

Maintenance & Care

As our brass is unlacquered, it will naturally age through oxidisation, giving the product added character. However, if desired, you can maintain this finish to a bright ‘polished’ finish with periodic polishing. To achieve this, please use a dry cloth or our ‘Brasso’ (73102) to clean solid brass products. Regular oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337) benefits your products' longevity. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. You can also use an oily cloth to wipe over the product occasionally to protect against exterior or environmental elements.
